Introducing AI reply drafts
Replying to reviews is one of those things every team knows it should do and few teams do consistently. A thoughtful public reply can turn a one-star vent into a five-star update — but only if someone gets to it while the reviewer still cares, and only if it sounds like a person rather than a form letter.
So we built reply drafts directly into the review card. When a review lands in your channel, it now arrives with a suggested reply already written underneath it. You read it, tweak a word or two, and post — or you regenerate for a different angle.
Written in your voice, not a generic one
A draft is only useful if it sounds like you. Before Reviewcast writes anything, it reads the review in full — the rating, the text, the language it was written in, and the topics it touches — and drafts a reply that actually addresses what the reviewer said.
You can shape the tone with a short brand-voice note in settings: how formal you want to be, whether you sign off with a name, what you never want to promise. Every draft is generated against that note, so a scrappy indie game and a buttoned-up banking app get replies that fit each of them.
Regenerate until it fits
No first draft is always right. Each suggestion has a regenerate control that produces a fresh take — a warmer version, a more direct one, one that leads with the fix instead of the apology. It costs you a click, not a rewrite from scratch.
Common patterns we see teams reach for:
- Bug reports — acknowledge, confirm it's being looked at, invite a follow-up channel.
- Feature requests — thank, be honest about whether it's on the roadmap, avoid over-promising.
- Happy reviews — short, genuine, no upsell.
A human always presses send
This is the part we care about most. Reviewcast never posts a reply on its own. The draft is a starting point that lives in the review thread; nothing reaches the App Store or Google Play until a person reads it and clicks post. The AI does the blank-page work. You keep the judgment.
The goal was never to automate replies. It was to remove the twenty minutes of staring at a text box so the reply actually gets written.

AI reply drafts are available on the Team plan and up. If you're already delivering reviews to Slack, they'll start showing up on new review cards automatically — set your brand-voice note first so the very first draft sounds like you.
