Not to start. Search for your app by name and reviews begin arriving — monitoring needs no connection to App Store Connect or the Play Console. Credentials are only required later, if you want to post public replies from Reviewcast.
Reviewcast checks for new reviews every 30 minutes. Google Play is checked in full each time; on the App Store, countries are checked in rotation, up to 10 per check, so each country comes round every 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on how many have new reviews. Most destinations get a new review in the check that finds it; email digests go out on their schedule, and channels that filter by topic get it one check later, once its AI topics are in.
Reviews in any language are translated automatically on arrival — included on every plan, with the original text always one click away.
Yes. Team and Studio can send 1-stars to an urgent channel and 5-stars to a wins channel, or route by AI topic — each destination follows one app listing with its own independent rules, and any channel can be paused without deleting it. Solo has one channel, which can still filter by star range. Keyword matches are for personal Slack alerts.
